This project was a complete transformation, beginning with the careful removal of the old carpet and underpadding. The original wood was then meticulously sanded down to reveal the clean, beautiful grain of the oak treads and handrail. The spindles and risers were given a crisp, modern white finish, creating a timeless contrast. The process was particularly complex on the curved sections of the staircase, requiring a master craftsman's precision to ensure a flawless, flowing result.
